PRESS RELEASE : Intergraph SmartPlant Instrumentation features new Fluke interface

EVERETT, WA – Fluke Corporation, the world’s leading supplier of test and measurement equipment and the Process, Power & Marine division of Intergraph Corporation are introducing a Fluke field calibrator interface with SmartPlant® Instrumentation 7.0 software. The new interface enables the software to communicate with the Fluke 743B and 744 Documenting Process Calibrators.

Maintenance personnel can upload or download calibration data to and from the Intergraph software, including as-found, as-left, and other key instrument information. The Fluke 740 Series Calibrators eliminate time-consuming and error-prone manual transcription in the field to promote accuracy, data completeness, and maintenance efficiency. The interface with the Fluke documenting calibrators helps companies maintain accurate process control—essential to plant productivity, product quality and profitability.

Availability The planned availability of SmartPlant Instrumentation 7.0 is first quarter 2005. SmartPlant Instrumentation, Powered by INtools®, is comprehensive, lifecycle software for instrumentation systems engineering, design and maintenance. For details, see ppm.intergraph.com/intools.
