PRESS RELEASE : Hart Scientific adds real-time data to temperature and humidity logger for high-accuracy environmental monitoring

AMERICAN FORK, UT — Hart Scientific, the world leader in temperature calibration products and services, has bundled its high-accuracy digital thermal hygrometer with its LogWare III environmental monitoring software, enabling real-time recording and viewing of all data.

The Hart Scientific Model 1621, Value Kit, includes the temperature and humidity logger, two sensors, a sensor case, a 25-foot sensor extension cable, and LogWare III. Each sensor is calibrated by Hart Scientific for temperature and humidity and contains its own calibration data, so that sensors can be removed from the logger and sent in for recalibration. This allows the logger to be used continuously, insuring consistent, high quality measurements without interruption or the need to purchase a back-up unit.

The kit has two versions available. The Hart Scientific Model 1621-S reads temperature to ±0.25 °C over its range of 15 °C to 35 °C and it records humidity to ±2% RH from 20 % to 70 % RH. The Hart Scientific Model 1621-H reads temperature to ±0.125 °C over its calibrated range of 16 °C to 24 °C and measures humidity to ±1.5 % RH from 20 % to 70 % RH. NIST-traceable certificates are provided with each sensor showing data for temperature and humidity. The total range for both models is 0 °C to 50 °C and 0 % to 100 % RH.

LogWare III is a Windows® application that retrieves, stores, and analyzes data from the logger. This software can import data batches from PC cards or directly from the logger’s on-board memory. LogWare III can read data in real-time via an RS-232 cable. Real-time data may be logged from one or both sensors, providing up to two temperature and two humidity inputs. All data is stored in a single database that is retrievable based on date and time ranges and sensor identifiers, which can be modified to indicate locations. Configurable user accounts and access levels ensure appropriate security and integrity of all stored data.

The real-time data may be viewed in customizable graphic and statistical formats. Graphs may be displayed for temperature and humidity for one or both sensor inputs in user-selectable time increments. A variety of critical statistical functions can also be shown for each input including min, max, average, and standard deviation. Alarm settings accompany downloaded or real-time data and may be highlighted in the graphs and in the displayed statistics.

For previously stored data, LogWare III allows on-screen viewing of raw data. It also exports data to file formats that may be viewed in Excel® or other common spreadsheet and database programs.

The price of the Hart Scientific Model 1621-S is $2,010, and the Hart Scienfitic Model 1621-H is $2,495. Deliveries are at two weeks A.R.O.
