EVERETT, Wash. – Fluke Corporation, the global leader in handheld electronic test and measurement technology, now includes a valuable, in-depth training program free with new Fluke FlexCam® FT Series Thermal Imagers with IR-Fusion® Technology.
The two and one-half hour training package, valued at $295, includes both the basic theory and practice of thermal imaging, as well as a step-by-step tutorial on the included SmartView® analysis and reporting software. It's designed to help new owners get the most from their thermal imagers, to refresh veteran users on the technology and to serve as a valuable, ongoing training tool. The training includes sections on Introduction to Thermography, Benefits of the Thermal Imager, Thermography Fundamentals, SmartView Software tutorial and an Emissivity Table and FOV Calculator tools.
"A new Fluke thermal imager delivers maximum value in the hands of a professional who knows how to use all of its capabilities," said Michael Stuart, Fluke thermal imaging marketing manager. "This training package is designed to help users feel comfortable with infrared technology and the use of their new thermal imagers."
Fluke thermal imagers have many applications in a multitude of industries. The Fluke Ti40FT and Fluke Ti45FT models feature everything needed for virtually every thermography task. With a 160 x 120 detector and a temperature sensitivity down to 0.08 °C (80 mK NETD) they deliver high resolution images where even the smallest temperature differences can be seen.
The Fluke Ti50FT and Fluke Ti55FT models provide even greater image quality. They feature 320 x 240 detectors with industry leading thermal sensitivity (≤ 0.05 °C; 50 mK NETD) for high resolution, ultra high-quality images. In addition, with a 60 Hz detector acquisition rate, temperatures are displayed live on the large 5-inch color display.
All FT models feature the innovative Fluke IR-Fusion® technology. IR-Fusion captures a visible light image in addition to the infrared image and takes the mystery out of IR image analysis. It helps to better identify and report suspect components so repair can be done right the first time.
The training is provided in English and nine other languages, including Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, German, Swedish, Chinese and Japanese.
