CARSON CITY, NV - Fluke Biomedical, a division of Fluke Corporation, today announces the signing of a worldwide exclusive agreement with IngMar Medical, Ltd. to distribute and provide annual calibration of the private-labeled portable precision test lung ACCU LUNG™. The ACCU LUNG is designed to be used in combination with the VT PLUS HF gas flow analyzer for ventilator performance testing as part of a periodic preventive maintenance regimen.
The ACCU LUNG is unique in that it has three parabolic resistance settings (Rp5, Rp10, Rp20) that have been selected to represent the values for test loads specified in the IEC60601-212 ventilator performance standards. It is also equipped with three compliance settings ((C50, C20, C10), adult and pediatric), and is extremely portable, with the ability to hang from a cart, from the ventilator, or be used as a handheld instrument.
