When checking the setting of a reach-in cooler or walk-in cooler T-stat, I use my Fluke 16 DMM and set it for Min/Max. By doing this I can see what the cut in and cut out temp is. You then will know what your product temp will be. At 38 cut out 42 cut in product should be 40 degrees. By using the record feature, I can work on other equipment and spot check the meter from time to time.
