I work at a sales and service distribution office for UPS systems. One of our tasks while commissioning a UPS system is to discharge the battery system and record at given time intervals. I use the Fluke 123 ScopeMeter with my laptop to do this, which saves me from manually doing the readings and then submitting a report. To do this, connect the scope to your computer and select Instrument, Start Logging, Continuous. This will make a beautiful discharge curve that is ready for customer submittal by print, email etc at the time of service. This is truly a time saver.
